Each summer Chicago Fire offers teams elite summer teams that participate in the USL Super Y League. Teams compete in the Super Y league from all over North America under the umbrella of the USL. This summer the U13 Boys and U16 Chicago Fire Boys quilified for the Super Y Nationals held this month in Tampa, Florida.

U13 Boys Pre-Academy players Collin Fernandez, Shannon Seymour, Eric Diaz and Mauricio Pineda all were selected for the US Club id2 Regional Training Camp for the 96-97 birth years. Three camps were held across the country in New Jersey, Texas, and Arizona with approximately 300 players. 18 players from the camps were then selected to participate on an international European series of friendlies. Congratulations to Colin Fernandez was selected to play in this elite group.

This year CFJ sends five players to represent Region II. Max Jones and Mitch Reavis from the U16 Development Academy Pool will play with the 1994 Region II boys, Kyle Dal Santo from the U15 Development Academy was select for the 1995 Region II boys, and Thomas Brannigan and Andres Torres from the U14 Pre-Academy will play with the Region II 1996 boys and younger.

This Saturday, November 14th at 7:00pm, the Chicago Fire host Real Salt Lake in the Eastern Conference Finals. Special ticket offers can be found under “Ticket Offers and Forms” under “Resources” on the left.
