Cadets
CFJ Cadets is a great way to supplement the training of a recreational player. Often recreational programs are do not provide professional coaches to teach players the basic of the game or the skills necessary to advance to the next level. Cadets offers recreational players another option to sample training in a professional environment. Activities will concentrate on technique and having fun. Training sessions are one hour in duration and games are played in-house, not in a travel soccer league. Players who excel should consider our travel teams.
What is Cadet Programs? Does it differ where I take the program?
NAPERVILLE
In Naperville, the Cadet program is offered to recreational teams participating in the Naperville Premier League looking for a professional trainer. CFJ will allow Naperville Premier teams to come into their structure and remain recreational. There will not be any pressure for players to jump to travel teams, however, players who would like to consider the travel option will have familiarity with the club and staff to help the player be placed in an environment that fits their ability. CFJ will provide a CFJ staff coach, extend the CFJ curriculum, and offer the same game day opportunities to players that the full travel players receive. WHEATON
In Wheaton, the Fire Cadet program is offered to recreational players interested in additional training. A CFJ staff coach will run an hour long session once a week teaching skills to prepare players for travel soccer with in CFJ. Players will not compete in league play or as a team. Small sided games will be played with in the session.
