College Recruitment

CFJ offers players opportunities at numerous regional and national showcases as well as participation in regional or national leagues (for teams that qualify). CFJ players can attend a CFJ College Night where players and families are explained the college recruiting process and the role CFJ, the player, and college coach take in the process. Finally, CFJ is works with its players to identify colleges based on their athletic and academic preferences and assists players in contacting college coaches and schools.

CFJ and the Chicago Fire youth structure has placed numerous players in college throughout its history (see alumni). CFJ staff coaches have developed relationships with many college coaches as a result of players it has placed in the past. In addition many relationship have been made through our involvement in state, regional, or national organizations, and through our experience such as coaching colleges and playing at college or professional levels.
